There are times when I bet you curse the cell phone manufacturers because by constantly updating models, users become often become frustrated; many buyers become dismayed at the almost non-stop stream of new models to choose from. Buyers need help with this problem so they make the correct choice and not end up with a phone they don't need; there are some important but basic facts, which every buyer should know.

Sometimes we delay charging as we are too busy and this often means the phone fails but leaving recharging like this isn't a good idea. If you do not want to replace your cell phone battery early then you must not continue leaving the recharge cycle until the last minute.

One easy way to extend the life of a cell phone battery is to turn off the back light or reduce the brightness just so you can see what you need to on the screen. Don't forget that nothing is free and although you may have been allowed to download a few new wallpapers and ring tones when you bought your phone, if you do not cancel this, they will continue to send them to you at regular intervals and charge you accordingly. Children are usually the most likely candidates to get caught out like this so if you are buying a phone for your child try to buy a model where you can disable this function with a password.

Before you make a decision on a cell phone it is worth considering how many minutes you will use per month and whether it will be worth arranging for a pay-per use agreement or a pay monthly contract which could be for twelve or twenty four months. The process for each contract will differ greatly but arranging a pay-per use contract for a regular phone user is probably not the best option to have financially speaking. Most companies supply people that have contracts with them, additional features not available with basic plans which means you could have caller id or a two number phone for example.

If you decide to buy your cell phone on the Internet, make sure it is not an old or outgoing model unless you do not mind of course; otherwise you may find it doesn't have all the features you want included.
